We sell UnderDeck Woof kits as well as do installations. Besides the various versions of the UnderDeck Woof, we can sell and install other under-deck products such as EZ lock under-deck aluminum pan system and DrySnap. We also do under-deck enclosures, screened-in under-decks, deck rehabilitations, fences, under-deck winterizations and handyman work.

The UnderDeck Woof

W panel in out e sell three version of the UnderDeck Woof: (1) Corrugated panels over a wooden-grid, (2) Flat-faced panels over a wooden grid, and (3) Rigid Panels with various cores and facings.

The UnderDeck Woof, with its ledger system, is unsurpassed in flexibility. Interior panels can be taken out and put back by hand, without having to remove adjacent panels. This can make it much easier to install ceiling fans, to install swings, to replace damaged surfaces, to maintain, and to retrieve an engagement ring that fell through the cracks of the deck above.

Since the panels do not attach to joists above, installations are not dependent on joist configuration. Since shimming and sistering are not required, there are no transverse members on which debris can catch,

The upper fiberglass surfaces are the most stable of materials, where deck pressure-treatment chemicals can corrode aluminum and galvanized surfaces, and where vinyl, a thermoplastic material, is subject to warping. Our hefty slope of paneling and guttering, ensures that moisture is drained away.

Besides the warranties described below, for installation of the Woof products, we provide a Customer Satisfaction Guaranteed, in that if the Customer is dissatisfied, and notifies us within 10 days of completion of installation, we shall remove the product and reimburse the Customer 80% of the price.

The three UnderDeck Woof types are described in the following three sections.

Corrugated Panels over Wooden Grid

This is t Corrugated Panel he simplest of our products and has a garden area ambiance. The wooden grid fits together like tinker toys, and it is kind of fun to take apart and fit back together. The 2x2 rafter members, the cross members, and the panels, lift out by hand. In windy locations we apply a wind-strap, which can be taken out and put back by fastening and unfastening 2 screws.

The fiberglass manufacturer has a 20 year warranty. In addition we provide a 15 year warranty regarding materials, workmanship and leaks. Any above deck caulking is warranted for 2 years. .The homeowner is responsible for maintaining the system, including cleaning the panels and guttering as needed.(recommended every 3 years for heavily wooded areas.)

Flat-faced Panels over Wooden Grid

Fl Flat-faced Panl at-faced panels are corrugated on the upward-side and have a flat finished surface on the downward side. Typically, the downward surface has been white ABS, like the material that has been used in aircraft interiors for many years. Installations use the same wooden grid as the corrugated panel system described above. Flat-faced panels give the under-deck a more finished look.

Flat-faced panels have the same warranties as the corrugated.

Rigid Panels

This is the premium panel in the world of under-deck waterproofing. Rigid Panels can have various light-we rigid ight facings, even wood. Presently, the most popular facing is white, vinyl beadboard. Facing and core materials can be altered for the customer's unique desired aesthetical, acoustical and insulation properties.

Like its siblings, rigid panels, which are 2-ft wide modular units, can be removed and reinstalled without taking out adjacent panels.

Rigid Panels are easy to take out and put back by hand, without removing adjacent panels.

Rigid Panels have a 20 year warranty against defects in workmanship and materials, and leaks. Any above deck caulking is warranted for 2 years. .The homeowner is responsible for maintaining the system, including cleaning the panels and guttering as needed.(recommended every 3 years for heavily wooded areas) Current installed price: $22-$26/sf.; if painting wood members of the kit, add about $1.50/sf.

I a 20 year warranty from the manufacturer. For the bead-board surfacing, the manufacture RIGID PARTS r hasa lifetime warranty. We providenstalled prices are $21/sf to $26 and will be raised to $22/sf to $27/sf.

E-Z Lok Aluminum Pans

We also can obtain EZ LOK aluminum pans directly from one of our manufacturers/suppliers, and install. We provide a 15 year no leak warranty for this system, if installed by us. This is provided the Customer maintains the system, including removal of accumulated debris. Any above deck caulking is warranted for 2 years. .

DrySnap

We also can obtain DrySnap directly from one of our manufacturers/suppliers, and install. DrySnap is a clever reincarnation of the traditional method of under deck waterproofing, using vinyl panels and transversing plastic shims. The manufacturer provides a 10 year limited warranty regarding material defects. We guarantee correct installation, according to the manufacturer's instructions. However, we cannot guarantee against leaks for installations of this product. Any above deck caulking is warranted for 2 years. .
